Last week my friend from small group notified me that Bill was playing in a near-by neighborhood soon. Well last night I got to take Candace to her first Bill Mallonee show. We went with another couple on a double date. I got to visit with Bill and ran into a guy I knew at Texas Tech Wesley, Shawn Gladding. Shawn is now living in community in Lexington and he's just released a book or something. Funny seeing him in Chicago.

Hey, that's a great story, and must have been a great evening! It doesn't appear that Bill is going to be playing in Texas anytime soon, but that would make us happy if he did. As for Sean, well, I don't actually know him (have only met him 3 times or something), but words he spoke years ago in ATS chapel, changed my life. So. I have a great deal of respect for him-- how fun that you ran into him at the show.
