I'm so forward thinking.

Have you seen the ads for a new type of cell phone by windows? They say they are getting cell phones back in controll or something. I noticed something today on an internet ad that they are using the phrase "Be here now" which is a phrase I used to use when youth group kids were using their cell phones instead of talking to each other. I'm feeling a little violated that a cell phone is being sold with the help of this concept. Booo!

As I looked up this video commercial, I learned that they claim the phone will be easier for you to check your facebook friends with, so it will be easier to not use it all day. Maybe I am not interpreting the times correctly, but it looks like the "smarter" the phones get, the more often they are used. If the new phone is as easy to use as they claim, won't people will be on them more?

It's a good commercial, untill they suggest that they have a solution.

I still claim it, that God wants us living in the moment. His treasures await us now. The Kingdom is at hand. Cell phones may be nice, but they won't help us live in the moment.

I think I remember you saying that! :0 You are forward thinking. It is interesting that in order to be ahead of the times you have to be undistracted enough that you are considered 'behind the times'.
